The good news is - My Aunt is OK. She's even rung my Mum to tell her to stop worrying I have no idea what happened but she was rambling this morning apparently - just like her favourite niece (actually, I'm her only niece!).

That is good news but another example of a woman creating a drama out of a crisis . Not your aunt, the carer but full marks to carer for getting things checked out . Old folks can ramble at the best of times but clearly more pronounced this morning. Gives a body a shake when they hear news like that though so nice hot cuppa time (while we compete for the seeds )

Apparently the carer found her in her chair, where she had been all night - instead of in bed. She couldn't get any sense from her so called her sons, and she told them that they had red hair and they'd cut a tree down outside etc. - all rubbish. So they called the doctor who said she's OK! Mum will ring her this evening and we'll probably go to see her tomorrow. It shook my Mum a bit - she's 92 - but they're both tough old birds with a wicked sense of humour

probably fell asleep in front of the telly and never had a bedtime drink so ended up a wee bit dehydrated. Makes anyone a bit doolally till rehydrated.

Either that or a very vivid dream. Sometimes it's hard to shake the dream into reality when you first wake. I do that, sometimes, and I'm not 96...not quite.

Whatever it was, I'm glad the carer had a panic. The best results for stroke recovery are in those people who got medical attention fast. It may even have been a mini stroke that she had recovered from before anyone really noticed.

It's quite a day for good news!

Nah,I reckon she got VC's login & has been doing all the late night/early morning shifts on the promise of a seed percentage & was just checking the inside of her eyelids for spots when the carer found her
