Though I spent many of my formative years in Mid Wales, where I was taught to speak proper.

It was only when I came to college in Kairdiff, that my lovely Radnor accent has been mutilated.

I'm from farming stock, bach...we make Cardi's look positively generous......I do think its funnier to blame it on the cardi's though. My OH is from West, and she is definitely not as frugal as I am.

A favourite saying of my Mothers about my father was 'he catches the pennies and misses the pounds'. He'd happily go about and buy a new vehicle but would argue over which tin of beans was bought.
