I never knew that if you have japanese knotweed with 9.5metres of your property you may not be able to get a mortgage from a bank or building society

Trying to find a parking space was thwarted twice by signs saying "Gates in Constant Use". Got me annoyed and also thinking "If they're in 'constant' use, why are they shut?" Surely 'frequent' or 'often in use'. (I know, this is minor to the point of non-existence...)
