Noisy Neighbours!

Fine, you wanna party, I'm not complaining, live and let live. However, your music has been getting steadily louder, and, whilst it's great music, really, it IS, if you were to shut the chuff up, or shove the Karaoke microphone right up your chuff (to save me a ten minute round trip to do it for you), it would be so much better, and I would be a lot happier!

finding out the loosely family elderly person is now blaming me for something i didn't even do, six months after the fact, without actually saying anything to me about it at all. Sometimes.....just sometimes.......


I've often wondered about the time i managed to stop myself from hitting someone over the head with a frying pan full of corned beef hash whether it was a good idea to stop. It may be that i really should give it a go this week.

I am in a wonderful job and I knew that it was a 6 month placement with not much chance of an extension or permanent position but please don't make me leave before the 6 months is up.

It's not the company I work for who want me to go its the people who placed me there who want me to get another job before the end.

Not only do all the systems go down [got your text VVG at 6:24 this morning] but don't publish the phone number to call to cancel the contract [today is one month until my contract is up] and no doubt they will all be taking complaint phone calls all day so even when I found the number [not from O2's website] I probably won't get through.

the person who managed to run over a nest of hedgehogs with a lawnmower killing 3 and then leaving the other 3 out in the sun on their lawn all day as they don't like to "touch" wild animals, then phoning me just now .... they are the size of ping pong balls for goodness sake.

I've cancelled contract successfully, and have ordered new phone.

Rant - holidays at home. you end up spending more money on stuff, diy, new this, new that, just replace those - than you would have spent if you had gone to NYC for a week. Sheesh.

Rant - men and motors

A lovely friend was knocked off her bike last night. She was on a bike lane (one of the advanced stop boxes that some drivers find impossible to understand). On amber, he put his foot down, not caring that a girl was in front of him.

He hit her, and just drove off. Not a single person stopped their car to find out if she was OK. Not a single one. Nobody felt a cyclist lying injured in the road was worth interrupting their journey for.

The male driver slowed down to have a look at her lying in the road, then sped off. Her bike is demolished, as is her confidence.

The police said "there's nothing we can do" well there is: try actually booking those drivers that knock cyclists off, instead of letting them go scot free. If we had Holland's rules, UK cyclists would be very much safer

TS, that's disgusting. Yes the police can do something (if they can be bothered). My rant, very minor compared to yours, it's bloody raining again.
