I'm not very good at washing up. I get angry because I'm the only one that bothers doing it. So I don't get attached to stuff people buy me (well not very often). Mostly it gets chipped or cracked in the sink because I'm making the effort while completely knackered.

One can go off people, you know! What's wrong with a neatly loaded dishwasher then?
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Oh AP you are cruising boyo!

I have several favourite mugs. I don't do cups. They are all the bigger size ones, and all bright. I love bright coloured mugs, Some of my best ones have disappeared so need to go out searching for some more.

I had a friend once who liked a cup of tea. I used to give her a smallish mug because she said she wanted to drink it, not swim in it

I just don't do the whole OCD thing. My house can be messy. But no one's died of it yet. I do have friends who hand out clothes and have to put yellow pegs on yellow clothes etc. I love to put different coloured pegs on all the clothes, and can't help wondering if they are cringing as I'm doing it. And then I wonder....where do people who wear only black find black pegs? Must admit I like a little bit of chaos, it's the absolute chaos I struggle with.

Funnily enough, I don't mind stacking the dishwasher. It's the unstacking bit that gets me. I don't mind the plates but cups and mugs with puddles left on top do my head in. As for the cutlery tray, that's definitely on the dark side. I'd rather wash and dry the cutlery by hand. I know that's weird and illogical but it's honestly how my mind works.

I've just remembered that I used to tidy my mom's cutlery draw when I was a kid. Also she had a huge tin of buttons. It was a National Dried Milk tin (I was brought up on it before they stopped making it due to some health scare or other), and I used to sort the buttons into piles on the carpet, ones that were the same, then I'd count them all and throw them back in the tin.

I did have toys but I was gutted when mom gave my lego away to my younger cousins. I didn't do dolls...boooooring! Had a real toy size Silver Cross pram that I used to put the dog in. She loved it.

OOOO that's what I used to do with my grandma's button tin, my mum finally gave in at the weekend and let me have it! I've been nagging her for years to get my hands on it, its still got some of the old buttons I remember in it too! The memories that came back, I used to spend hours with that tin!It is now one of my most treasured possessions(?)
