Malvern Spring Show 10-13th May

Ta BB - lovely pics. If only that olive/lavender garden was mine...still, we don't have the weather anyhow, so who am I kidding. Did you get around any of the herbaceous plant stalls? I know it's not GYO, just interested in quality, etc. I may need an earlier start and a caffeine injection after all...

No probs think the olive garden was there last year (need to look at old pic's),weather this weekend is going to be good,but bear in mind due to its location there can be a chilly light breeze at times.
Herbaceous plants are abundant there & can be brought from stockists stalls (North West corner along side Dobies),near to which is a "plastic goods" stall where you can get the collapsible trollies (you will see peeps with them) for �12,herbaceous plants are also available to buy from the static display stalls in the marquee,also bear in mind that as Sunday is the last day most of the plants that make up the herbaceous & floral displays will also be for sale & most will do a buy now collect as you are leaving service

Thanks BB. It will be my first visit to the Malvern show so anything is good. I bought loads of Pennard seeds and plants from them at the Cardiff show. They're amongst my favourites. Must try not to duplicate - or even, make a list (Can't do that really - too organised for me)

I saw the olive garden last year, but it was very different. We got quite a bit in the sell off last year. I'm hoping to get the meconopsis shown last night

Had a great time with VC...bought some fabulous seeds, a new spade (copper bronze of course), meconopsis and iris by the tonne. Bought my mum some wanted rarities. Also some lovely rusted iron plant supports for the herbaceous stuff. Got three discounted mollyblobs (marsh marigolds) after VC haggled for me All in all a fabulous but tiring day. Thanks VC, Malvern and Mr VVG!

I enjoyed it too, VVG and Mr VVG. Thanks for keeping me entertained and for everything else - like not telling tales on me! I have a bootful of bootiful toms and a matching meconopsis. And 20 Alpines, reduced to �5 to plant on my cliff garden. Plus a copper trowel - one must keep up with the VVGs you know!
