Most of it's gone now, turned to rain/sleet and windy. I'm still not going out there.

All you people with snow already - drive safely! (or stay home).
You are getting the remnants off the mountains, its not coming here, I've booked a nice afternoon so I can move the greenhouse.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

That would be the coarse northerly wind I think, its generally hot air that rises from down south.

Nothing much my direction, light dusting of snow on the fields close to mountains, that's it....
I dont think I could enjoy snow now, after been walking around in tee-shirts outside last week

'twas cold with an icy blast when we went into the shop and snow when we came out.....but it hasn't settled so I've got crossed fingers for the lottie . Fleece tunnel over my onions and plastic tunnels over beetroot and turnips ........broad beans will just have to tough it out and my tatties are wither under straw and fleece or underground ....

The snow finally stopped around 4-ish we ended up with 5 inch of the stuff and deeper than that in the drifts. No sign of it melting yet but 'they've' given out rain for tomorrow so that should soon shift it.
Don't they know snow should only be for Christmas.

Plenty of water running into my butts now.

no snow here. Met office says it's 5 ("feels like 0"). No sign of snow. Might bring the patio cherry inside as it's just starting to blossom. The stuff on the plot will have to take its chances- the broadies are big enough to look after themselves and the peas are "sow outside in Feb" so I am assuming they should be fine...
