I always talk to my babies,when i open the door i always say good morning babies,and good night babies,when them bigger,they my teenagers,never he/she,i draw the line at giving them names,as in Gertrude beetroot,Rose radish,you get my drift,sounds like a kids book

Where's your soul, VVG! How can you treat them as casually as if they were a bag of nails. You sow them, give them life, they grow because you water them and watch over them and you dismiss them as common or garden weedlings. Some of my "specials" do have individual names - but I don't have a problem eating them at the end of their days. If they had fur or feathers that would be different......Comment

That's reminded me of my chat with DD earlier ( 9 )...she had sex ed at school this week and has decided it's disgusting and never wants to do it. (although I've always been open and honest, I obviously can't have been as graphic as the video). She wondered if there's any other way to have a baby and I explained about IVF but said it's quite expensive. Her reply...'
