What's your opinion of a man who is wearing a bow tie in a photo? Very tidy and well presented - probably recently shaved too.

Yes 'tidy up', but don't ovwerdo it, you might put off someone who is not so interested in the hyper-smart type.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment

I followed the link in Twosheds post. There are only 4 men, in Wales, aged between 55 and 70 and one of them has a bow tie! So I looked around outside Wales and there arre a couple more here Search our online community
I just think they look so ridiculous, especially when worn around the neck!Comment

I'd hate to think where else they could be worn...totally agree that they look hideous though.
I think any pictures should show the real you, but a you that's made an effort to look presentable. If you're not the shirt and tie type, you'll look hideously uncomfortable in the picture. There's a huge difference between a man that has 'designer stubble' and a lay about that can't be bothered to wash....we can spot the difference
