Read in today's Sunday Times that Harrods are planning a rooftop allotment! Shoppers will be able to buy fresh veg from the store's very own plot (���?).

Also they are offering an allotment design service!

Bet this makes a few other allotmenteers out there smile!

I'll say, JK - I've clearly missed out on a money making opportunity here!

Do you think that Harrods also offer out the services of a gardener to dig the plot once it's planned....and a chap to sow the seeds...and a service whereby you can pay a chap to come over and hoe the weeds off......

methinks that anyone who pays for the above has sort of missed the point about having an allotment!
