      I didn't like chutney either until I started making it. Call it relish instead

        Heh, relish, I like it! Will tell the OH that the house smells of relish - see if it works!

        My eyes finally felt better after a good night's sleep so I did more chutney this evening! Glutton for punishment, me!

        Hoping that both taste even nicer after a month or two (assuming they don't mould as I used cling film first then lids but the lids were a wee bit damp. I figure they'll either smell nice or nasty though if they do turn! Looking forward to Xmas time.
