Well, we didn't take part in any of the celebrations but it seems to me that the rest of France did This morning, we had to go to Riom to change our driving licences and I reckon that we were subject to just about every kind of bad driver on the journey (about 130k round trip). Methinks that they all did a bit too much celebrating last night!
And to top it all, the sou Prefecture (where we were going) was closed because of faire le pont (making the bridge) to the weekend
