Digging over one of my veggie beds and spotting a small fragment of Couch Grass root. Pulling said "fragment" and finding it is actually nearly two feet long, runs nearly half the width of the bed and I've got the whole thing out - including the growing tip! Mmmmwwaaahhaahhaa!!!!!

Got one of today's dreaded meetings out of the way. It wasn't scary and it wasn't a waste of time. Time for a pear and a cup of hot chocolate then the Diabetic clinic at 5pm.

Getting organised for our trip to Ireland, going to meet our first born grandchild and we are so excited

OH and I went out for lunch today for the first time in years, it was lovely
Oh, and laughing at sanctimonious people. Hubby and I were thoroughly entertained by one earlier tonight

Getting a really good veg growing book for just a pound...it was labelled at 4.99 but the chap in the Charity shop thought it was etortionate and to encourage a young mum to grow veg, I could have it for a pound....Guilt made me pop another pound in the charity box.
