Getting to the top of my local 'mountain' and then back down as fast as possible on my mountain bike (without breaking anything!)

The grape who kept in touch when the Vine was down without having to join Face Ache. Wonderful, thank you.

Clear, frosty, sparkling Autumn days, when the sun casts sharp shadows from bare trees, and you can see your breath in the chill, still air as you shuffle and kick up crisp fallen leaves just to hear the sound they make.

Managing to get enough Elderflowers to make a batch of Cordial - they were early this year, and I thought I'd missed out.

Not sure if this should be on the rant thread or this one... Himself has just had a huge go at me because someone has voted me the best looking person they know on FB. He didn't think to ask me about this person, just shouted & ranted & was generally obnoxious to me. (I might tell him later that this person is the queerest, gayest friend I have)

Waking up after a heavy night with an old friend, and finding that in fact the stairs were clearly too much of a challenge, so the settee had me on it for the night, then receiving a text from my son to tell me that I will be getting my 5th grandchild in February. Made my day.
