I love my son's 1972 mini, we owned one in 1972. He loves the look of it and doing it up and the fact that he doesn't have to tax it. My boys always wanted us to get Kit (Knight Rider)
Had the last one just over four years, had this one nearly four years, and I'll probably have it for the next four. Unless I win the Lotto! But even then I'd probably still keep it!

), so the mrs now has a bmw mini, as she loves minis. I use that now as my daily commuting car, it's small, light and extremely fuel efficent - currently on 52mpg, usual if I take it slowly is 58.8mpg. Compared to 18mpg in my old car it's lighter on the wallet.
Espeically as i'm thinking of jacking this industry in and mowing grass verges for the rest of my life
