I love my son's 1972 mini, we owned one in 1972. He loves the look of it and doing it up and the fact that he doesn't have to tax it. My boys always wanted us to get Kit (Knight Rider)

I am on my second 'Disco' and love love love it. Had the last one just over four years, had this one nearly four years, and I'll probably have it for the next four. Unless I win the Lotto! But even then I'd probably still keep it!

My first car was a range topping 3series, was amazing. As a couple, a bit impractical having a new baby. It fueled my love for BMWs though.

Mrs told me she was preggo again before xmas, so sold it that day and bought a honda crv - just as well as I do so many trips to the tip (doing house up), the boot is really helpful. Living halfway up a mountain, the 4wd is helpful in the snow, infact it was good fun when it snowed last.. I was pretty much the only dude out and about around us - first day I had it drove around the corner in the snow, to watch a car slide off a driveway into me. Grr.

Worst car, probably was the C3 my wife bought after selling her classic Paul Smith mini (for a tidy profit!). Thankfully that died, completely. Hoping I didn't have anything to do with that (), so the mrs now has a bmw mini, as she loves minis. I use that now as my daily commuting car, it's small, light and extremely fuel efficent - currently on 52mpg, usual if I take it slowly is 58.8mpg. Compared to 18mpg in my old car it's lighter on the wallet.

Still, the new M3 is calling my name. Doubt that'll happen mind Espeically as i'm thinking of jacking this industry in and mowing grass verges for the rest of my life

My first car was a 1927 Austin Ruby and being a poor student ran it on a mix of petrol and parrafin. Smelt a bit but could do 50 downhill with a following wind.

I think the most fun I ever had driving was in a dumper truck, I was bounced all over the place and had to move the steering from side to side it ensure it stayed straight on the road. Top speed 30mph, but it felt seriously out of control, at 20.

Tried the grass verges thing Chris, its a lovely summer holiday job, but I wouldn't want to be out there in the winter. I used to do it during college holidays, many moons ago.

It has its down sides, when cutting verges around towns, people tend to let their animals do their business in the verges, cutting through that with a strimmer and have it flick up in your face is well gross. bleugh.

I love cars, have always been a fanatic since I was a child and have always dreamed of owning a Ferrari F40. Very little chance of that happening unless I win the lottery as they sell for at least �300000 these days.

Currently own a Renault Sport Clio 182 at the minute which I have owned for nearly 6 years. I love it, weighs next to nothing but has a 2.0 litre engine and it handles brilliantly but I'm thinking of changing next year. Really fancy a BMW Z4 3.0 Roadster but all depends if I can talk the Mrs into letting me have one as she has decided she also wants a new car.

I currently drive a Mazda 6 Estate, but we are in the process of selling it, for a Honda Jazz...

My first car was a Mini "Italian Job" special edition... when my mum found out I'd rolled it into a ditch, she made me sell it and I ended up with a Metro. After that came the horrid Nissan Micra (the bubble shaped version) and then my "love" car - a Ford Puma! But we got dogs, and very soon the Puma was replaced by a Mitsubishi LWB Shogun, which was a great car size-wise, but really unreliable. After the electrics, brakes and engine failed at 80mph in the fast lane of a m-way 5hrs from home, it was the last straw.... cue my SEAT Alhambra, then the Mazda.... we're now going back down to small cars, mainly due to petrol prices and the like....

As a student I had a citroen 2CV......I loved it. We had a super friendly owners community and waved to each other every time our 2CVs passed on the road. Wonderful. I expect it still occurs today! I miss skylark.

I hated my allegro.Nuff said about that one.

I loved my carrera 4s Afew years ago but so impractical for both business and family.

I now have a merc coupe which is now in need of a serious valet from transporting tillers, trugs of weeds etc"...I can feel an estate or pick up looming in the not so distant future.........

my cars, my first was a vauxhall viva had this for six months, failed mot so was scrapped, then it was a lovley ford capri, two tone, maroon over silver, that ended its life in a hedge back, another trip to the scrap yard, then 10 years of motorbikes, but after a broken wrist and dislocated knee cap, got knocked off at a junction, i bought a mini metro yak, closley followed by a montego, then a nissan sunny coupe,then a bmw 3 series boring so got an escort xr3i, loved this was fast and reliable, then the motorbike bug got me again, a 6 month old kawaski zx7r was purchased, had this for 3 years, loved it but sold it when i got married, so i bought a subaru imprezza sti type ra, it was just to expensive to run and service, now have a mitsubishi l200, had this 3 years and has so far been faultless, saving up for a new shape one, my best car is the l200 , dream car if money was no object would be an AC COBRA from the late 60,s early 70,s, 7.2 ltre v8 ford engine in a small british sports car wow, also rhianna in the passenger seat would be nice . off to put the lotto on now
