Broccoli gone ...... and my outside leeks. I think it was just the sheer weight of the snow (it was about six feet deep!) Kale is also looking a bit squashed, but possible signs it might recover.
Been snowing again today, but not lying. Still have quite alot in the hills and at the edges of teh road.
For those in the (very) north the Fair Isle Weather Forecast is very good and covers Shetland, Orkney and Caithness.

Forecast for Easter Ross this weekend is for more snow, though sounds as if it may be more like sleet. Certainly got a lot colder today

Rat and Jennie, just as well you get long hours of daylight to make up for the shorter season.

Huh, so much for the sleety snow - it started snowing about 2a.m ( I was coming back from the pub / club) and I've just looked out my window and there is easily five bloody inches of white rain out there.

                Lucky you Andrewo
Not only am I going to have to go to work tomorrow, I know what awaits me when I get there - think I'll throw a sickie - or maybe I'll just jack. It's still snowing here, though it's now a wet snow, so hopefully we'll see a thaw before the days out.
