I lurked until I got the temperature of the water and then paddled. If I feel strongly enough about anything, I wade in nowadays but most of the time I just go with the flow. It's a form of contact and entertainment and to be enjoyed.

I can't remember too well but I think I was searching for gardening fora and came across this one and a few others. The others soon went but stayed with this one, have drifted in and out depending on what else is going on in my life but recently have been more involved.

I started off slowly to guage the 'temperature' of the forum and then just went for it I think. It's now one of the two remaining fora I belong to across the internet, I've dropped out of most because my life has moved on or because they're run by idiots or they're just so bloody boring - which this place never is, bit repetative sometimes but never boring.
