Tonight we saw a colony of bunnies near a roundabout on the north side of town. Surrounded by a two main roads and an industrial estate it was reminiscent of Watership Down. Quite wonderful to see them contentedly nibbling grass in the sunshine.

When I lived in the village I made a list of animals that came to our garden, included badger, foxes, pheasants, plenty of wild birds and even a goat and a horse one day! Miss that here, but we have cats and dogs around, and recently squirrels and rats!

Saw the wildcat again today on the plot, along with a squirrel, 2 pheasant and the magpies, Robins and Blackbirds were also very much in evidence!
