    Spot on!

I thought she was excellent - in fact, the whole program was 'awe inspiring' to use Liz's last words

Yup! I thought they were all excellent!

Even Wossy, had the grace to refer to himself as an idiot (or similar) and he managed to not lark about this time, too.

        Loved it. Want more.

Can we have more TV progs like this, instead of soaps and reality shows and shopping channels and...

Well, I accept that she is very well educated, but biochemistry and wild animal biology are a bit far removed from astronomy.

look at the Heavens Above web site for space station passes and iridium flares

              Heavens-Above Home Page

I love watching for the ISS and if I am very lucky the flares too!

SueA Zooniverse are doing a fab Weather thing......
They have loads of very old ships logs and they want us to detail the weather mentioned in those logs....some are hard to read but oooooh sooooo interesting!
Its a wonder I ever get out in the garden.

Have to say Dara and the very lovely Brian Cox make a fab team! Its light hearted in places - interesting - fun - and we can all take part. Brilliant well done BBC - at last.... more please.

ps Got the first series Brian Cox book for Christmas (Mr HF's Sister and Family ) great reading, little tough going in places but a great book thank you guys.
How I wish I was given a clever brain and a much better memory!

Are you deliberately or subconsciously spelling his name wrong? My bold.

So? Dara O'Briain is a comedian who studied theoretical Physics. Prof. Cox is a particle physicist who used to be in the pop band D'Ream.

My point was that she's an intelligent educated woman, not "that dolly bird".
There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

My Dad loves it when people miss-spell his name to Brain - he takes it as a compliment! Nutter!
