Enrich, I'm really sorry to hear of your woes, but it sounds as though there is still that smile in there (even if deep down), keep your chin up and here's hoping 2011 is your year.

Enrich, we are both looking forward to seeing the back of this year. It sounds like an incredibly hard month for you and a definite bump in your road. Im the same, hubby has been ill all of this year including loosing his eye sight (got it mostly back now thankfully) and at times I just sat on the stairs and cried my little eyes out. Thought there would never be an end to this. But one thing I have learnt is that you are fully entitled to feel down and have a tantrum etc. At some point however you will get up and brush yourself off and find that your glass is half full of something wonderful. Your little boy sounds like a little star. Kids have a funny way of bringing us out of these slumps.

There's a record (don't know who by) that Radio 2's flogging at the moment 'All I want for Christmas is New Year's Day. I should say that just about sums up how you feel at the moment enrich.

When we go through a spell of what can go wrong does go wrong, and is usually expensive to boot, you get to the stage of 'every silver lining has a cloud'.

I hope things are better for you next year.
