Thinking about it, I do have one truly Christmas favourite, but not sure it is exactly a film. A friend who has Sky recorded it for me, (not least because I was going to be away over Christmas that year, as well as not having direct access to Sky).
Hogfather is nearly as good as the book (and when I say that about a film, it really MEANS something!)

I've never really been one for watching films over and over, there are so many out there that I'd rather see something else. Actually when I think about it I don't watch films that much anyway as I can rarely find that long to sit and concentrate! Am pretty the same with books, occaisionally re-read but when I do I often skim to the best bits

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Just noticed in the TV schedules that 2 of my top 3 are being shown on C4 Xmas day

Lampoons Christmas vacation. Must see watching.
Chevy Chase and Beverly Di Angelo (Mmmmm), the bit where he plugs the lights in and the electric meter goes like a blur. Fantastic.
"Orinoco was a fat lazy Womble"

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.
