I watched it but really only enjoyed the bits where Alan was demonstrating the 'how to do this at home' stuff. That's what I used to like about him on G.World, very straightforward instructions & a friendly manner.

I like Alan's personality and down to earth manner, but I've never been able to pin him down as a gardener. With most gardeners you get to know their signature plants and ideas, but Alan never seems to come across with a strong point of view. Then again, maybe that's why he's popular.

I did enjoy this week's episode - I am (currently) in a very dry garden and his idea, with a pond liner, on how I could grow plants (hostas, astilbes for example) that I would like to grow was, for me, inspiring

I'm looking forward to next weeks programme as hopefully it'll tie in with our centenary garden ......I've found it much more enjoyable than GW

Have watched it a few times now; there is a bit too much on hedges and lawns for my liking, my 2 pet hates, but the other bits and bobs, like the fruit trees, was good for me.

It wasn't veg based - no, all the episodes are more design/concept/ideas based really.

What I liked about all of the programmes was his non-use of Latin names, he always seems to opt for local/common names - quite refreshing

He is on a lot of things at the moment and writes for a gardening mag, plus I saw a new book at the library. How does he find the time!
