My least favourite smell on the lotty is some kind of dead nettle (I think it is), it absolutely reeks, I can't stand it. Much worse than comfrey tea

The plot next to mine is not let - it is left as a 'wildlife area' due to the loads of slow worms that live along that side of the allotment site. Now there is a foxs' lair - and the worst smell of all was late this summer when an old fox died nearby and was quietly rotting within 6 foot of my plot.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to? -
Can I have two worst smells?
The first is when a broody hen gets off her nest and has a sloppy poo right under your nose!
The second is when a hen lays a 'softy' egg and it gets amalgamated into the nesting box straw!
Must admit that both are closely followed by nettle and comfrey tea in the initial stages though!

1 year old coffee grounds, I had about 10lb collected outside in a cooler box & forgot about them, they smelt worse than manure............. they still went round the fruit bushes & strawberry plants though. It'll either kill them or cure them..........

my barrel of special evil brew,in no precise amounts,water,nettles,rhubarb leaves,mares tails,any scrag ends of chilly and garlic,others have remarked,they know when the lids of,pewww,will start a new batch of next year,

rotton brussels- i once rode, eventually, past a field of dead brussel sprouts which had been left in situ. horse reared, reversed, turned, reared again, for about 20 minutes, before i finally got her past-- the smell was appalling!Comment

another nasty smell- wet wood, especially a piece of oak which has been submerged or very wet for any length of time- smells like particularily pungent dog---pComment

According to Mr in Pots its my bucket of comfrey/nettle tea, think I must be immune to it
