Can't say I've ever done that Zaz!

I'm struggling through Miguel Cervantes-Don Quixote at the mo. About half way through the book now and have to keep reminding myself that it was written in original form 500 years ago!

I looked down at my hands jsut before I left my Mum's house yesterday and....

Very disappointed with our cleaning help.

Got a phonecall there were too many dirty dishes in the kitchen for them to clean it properly, when I remember that I had agreed that if there ever were dishes left in the sink they wouldn't mind cleaning them as part of their weekly duties.

I'll send an email now to clarify the tasks they think they are doing and I think they are doing.
What is really annoying me is that they were phoning their boss while still in my house cleaning and they left 20 mins early.

I am really annoyed.

Rant at myself ........got so excited by finding a good offer on tix for the EGS that I booked without checking which day .........guess I'm going on friday now then instead of Sat.........

Another one cross at self - why didn't I wash the seed trays and pots last autumn, like I always say I will? Now I have a kitchen full of dripping trays so I can keep up the early sowing, grr!

Oh, boll*cks, just taken call from doc and I've went from an over active thyroid to a seriously suppressed thyroid. That'll explain why I need an IV of caffeine to get me through work. On a confessional note I shall never be smug when people are dieting - I've put on 5kg from mid December to mid Jan Well I've been deliberately over eating - ate a full (yes, I mean a full sized) carrot cake yesterday - dairy free though, so even though it had butter icing, it's not really. This is not really a rant is it? I'm sitting here smiling to myself cause I know what a greedy piggy wiggy I've been. Well that's got to stop but it was really, really nice whilst it lasted. Any one for salad?

I sincerely hope I'm the only rant this Valentines Day, and mine is aimed at my boss...again!

At 5.10 this evening, I was trying to wrap up a couple of jobs before logging off, and MrPB was already waiting for me in Reception. Out of nowhere, my boss appeared in my 'office'.

'Go home!' he said. 'Come on, pack up and go home'...and then he proceeded to talk to me about a load of cr*p that he wants me to do this week (when I'm in the middle of a huge costing exercise which is taking over my life)...20 minutes he bleated on for! 20 minutes!! I thought he wanted me to go home! Baaaaaah!!

I think this might qualify as a major rant...I'm so sick of things being stolen from my lottie! I've had small things taken, tools, etc, but today I went there to find that someone has stolen my apple tree!! Dug the thing out and took it, along with the stake. I'm fuming and disheartened all at the same time.

A couple of things it's still raining,and the good old delivery man that could not be arsed to put my new compost bins around the back of the house as i asked(it's even on the delvery note),but just dumped them in the front garden

My brother taking one look at my plan for the allotment - and proclaiming "no I dont think we'll do it like that..." then going on how he thinks we WILL be doing it - Look mate - my seeds, my allotment fees, me doing 90% of the work..... erm I think We'll do it MY WAY ---- nearly burst into song there!
