More car insurance woes!

Apparently a copy of the Certificate of Insurance is no good and they are asking for a Schedule or Statement of Insurance...........wtf is that!

I think they send that with the certificate at renewall time. Your old company should be ablt to send you a copy....

my OH works in insurance and says thet you should contact your new insurance company and give them the contact details of your previous insurer E.G. company name, contact no and insurance policy number and they will tele-validate your history. should they have a problem with the details they have a right to cancel but must give you 7 days notice or adjust your premium accordingly.

Many thanks Jelliebabe...I've had a shufty through my files and found the schedule (Still can't see WHY they need this though as opposed to the actual Insurance Certificate?)
I've scanned both sides and sent them a copy so hopefully this will be an end to it!

On a similar vane my OH wouldn't eat eggs from my allotment hens until she watched a telly cook (can't remember which) advocating using her own fresh eggs!

3 yr olds who want to be independant and use the toilet on their own, then you find they have unravelled 2 rolls of loo rolls and stuffed them down the bowl!

Hospital car parking - free for 30 mins ... my appt was for 40 mins so I was charged �2.70 !!!
They have the cheek to say it pays for road repairs etc: the hospital has pot holes you could plant leeks in

Hospital parking where there are insufficient spaces for the number of patients and outpatients...I actually got out of MrPB's car this morning and marched right up to a car that was about to pinch the space we'd been waiting 20 minutes for. The man in the driver's seat took one look at my face and said '...errr, don't worry, you've been waiting...you can have this space'.

Too frickin' right!

I don't know what came over me...normally I'd just fume to myself.

Re-development companies that are intent on destroying beautiful old trees....

The lovely Lombardy Poplar behind my house that we have enjoyed the view of and the birds that use it (for the last 25 years) now has until tomorrow morning before the chainsaw starts....and thats only because I persuaded the tree murderer to give it a stay of execution while we tried to get the company behind it to reconsider........tbh don't hold out much hope

Minor rant incoming!! i don't mind my posts being cut to what ever....but either...1... keep my post count permenantley at 1 or...2.. make me a Trombone instead of a tuber ...or 3....change my state randomley to...whatever....angry badger, toy car, ikea bookcase....just please no more seedling!!! i've grown 2 pumpkins don't ya know!!
