Coping with the 'fallout' of the volcano

I'm now not coping very well with the fall out after the volcano. Just had a call from my back to back, he has found a way in, but I cant get out. There are just no flights out. The company wont pay for us both to be here at the same time, so looks like he wont come in.
Proper miffed now!
