At least you were one day in advance Fiona & not one day late!
I picked our wedding day as the 1st July so it was easy to remember but O.H. still manages to forget on occasions & he even has dates in his Blackberry to remind him a bit like Wayne!
Into every life a little rain must fall.

"The captain wishes to congratulate Mr. Gibbons on this his 40th wedding anniversary and request his pleasure on the flight deck" My OH nearly wet himself but courageously was led to the captains domain.
Wow! that was another near one!
      Nice recovery Bren

To be honest we have forgotten more than we have remembered over the years. It used to upset me but I am cool with it now

                Congrats Mrs H!

My first wedding anniversary I awoke early and went downstairs. Opened the post to find an anniversary card to us from a friend. Doh, I had completely forgotten.
                Cripes, what to do??
Ran to the computer and made a quick powerpoint display of "happy anniversary" stuff, with a virtual breakfast in bed, virtual bouquet of flowers etc, phoned the florist to get stuff sent round toute de suite.
She got up and came downstairs, I thrust her in front of the comp and said "watch this!" Her face when she realised she had also forgotten was a picture. Flowers came a bit later in the day and she was delighted but spent weeks apologising before I finally came clean.

Congratulations Mrs. H. You have (thankfully) reminded we have our 40th (I think someone said that's the grubby anniversary) coming up in April. I remember (because Lady S. keeps reminding me) of how I proposed. We had a romantic trip to Paris over Valentine's day. We went up the Eiffel Tower, round the Sacre Coeur, saw Napoleon's tomb, went down the Seine on a bateau mouche, went round Notre Dame, kissed in the Place de la Concorde, had a day at Versailles etc. etc. At what point did I propose? The most romantic of course. Waiting for a taxi on the way home at Victoria Station. I was always a devil for excellent timing. I'm hoping to be forgiven by our golden.

Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

Firstly congrats for tomorrow! Nicely done on completing the decade. May you have many more happy ones ahead of you both.

As to the mix-up ....lol, sigh and rolling eyes at the same time...

How lovely, Fi, a wedding anniversary. Happy 10th for tomorrow. I loved all mine, specially as my late OH was a hopeless romantic! Mind you he forgot that the 12 July was a bit of an important date for his mum in Belfast!

Thanks for all your kind wishes, you guys are great
We had a lovely meal, snuggled up on the sofa and watched a funny movie, nothing earth shattering but a nice evening. It was good to have some time to just chat, not something we make enough time for I 'spose.

                        Night all

                              Happy Anniversary XXX

I've been married 22 years and both of us have trouble remembering whether its the 28th or 29th august. The only thing I was in trouble for was when it was his 40th birthday he said don't make a fuss . So I didn't
