The hospital roads had been gritted, but no one thought to do the pavements! You take care Rhona it'll be an arctic expedition. I've ordered from Asda again - we're on a main road at the front so the delivery is no problem. My granddaughter's junior school was closed today because the playground was covered in ice. It's such a pity as the staff have all struggled to get in every day so far, but very understandable from the H & S point of view for all concerned.

We've had sleet and snow on and off all day, but it hasn't settled. The birdbath is still liquid, thank goodness.

He he. Someone turned up to playgroup today pulling their toddler in a cat litter tray. Genius!

In fact, tomorrow ...baby in front carrier thing; rucksack on back with shopping; dragging toddler behind in lid of heated propagator (don't have a cat)...it could work... Social Services anyone?

On tuesday night a gritter broke down on the tram lines in hillsborough. I was stuck at the bus stop for about half hour and the bus decided not to come. I ended up stuck waiting for a tram instead for about an hour so that I could get the tram link. It took me over 2 hours to get home and I finally got in at 6.30pm I wish it was summer never mind blooming spring!!
