    Er.. Brilliant?!

I had a dream when I was about... 6 I dunno ask mum, but there was a lion on my ceiling and then it turned out to be Aslan from the lion the witch and the wardrobe. Hmm.

I once had a dream that the porch at the front of the house turned into Rolf Harris. Don't tell me dreams don't mean anything.

I accept that dreams are a fantasy of some kind but what mystifies me is how can you ever be surprised at the goings on when it was you that thought of them in the first place

Interesting you should say that. I had quite a lot of bad dreams as a child and would wake in the night unable to shake them off or think about something else. My Dad told me to pretend I was changing the channels on the TV and choose something I really liked to watch.
Tom and Jerry got me through an awful lot of bad nights

Not one of mine, but certainly the weirdest I have ever heard of. A young High School girl dreamt she was late for school, so got up, washed, dressed and dashed out of the house, only to find she was dreaming so went back to bed. Woke up, realised she was late for school, washed, dressed, dashed out of the house, only to find she was still dreaming. Apparently this happened 3 or 4 times before she woke up properly. Thes so called 'nested' dreams are supposed to be extremely rare, and can be quite traumatic for the dreamer. Odd, or what?

Dreams are amazing aren't they. It's supposed to be the brains way of dealing with the days situations and leftover/subconcious feelings but I got into dream reading as a teenager and it's surprising interesting and weirdly accurate when you start.

My favourites are when I dream in colour but my reoccuring dreams are:

House themed - I have 4 different styles of house
Monster themed - chasing / being chased by Vampires or Devil but not scary
Alien world - I go back regularly but to different places each time
              Flying - I'm a Vampire
Loosing teeth - fear of loosing control

Susan Boyle dreamed a dream - look where it got her
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

Oh and I forgot to mention the Christmas nightmare. Wondering why the shops were festive etc. etc. and the sudden realisation it would be Christmas Day tomorrow and I had forgotten all about it.

I dreamt last night that I was eating a giant marshmallow. When I woke up, my pillow was missing...

I have weird and vivid dreams many cobbled together from oddments of news, gossip, events, etc or whatever is worrying me or amusing me. I sometimes wake up laughing out loud - or I feel I wake up laughing - OH says he doesn't hear anything.

My most recent funny dream: I was lying in bed between two younger men. I was eighty-six and my 'toyboys' were in their seventies!

One recurring nightmare involves me getting married to a man whose face I cannot remember and my mum hands me a drab grey shift dress to wear and there is no time to sort out an alternative wedding dress.

I had a dream ages ago in which it was normal to wear food (obsessed, moi?). I had a really nice top made out of smoked salmon. My first thought on waking was 'what a good idea.'

                            Ham trousers, anyone? No?
