It does work but its easier to put them in the loo roll wet. I have also started seeds off in t-bags.........that's the yorkshirman coming out again.

I'm drying them to store them without them going mouldy until sowing time. Thanks for the tip though, I'll water them before stuffing the bog rolls

ps I saw a Freecycler using 2 or 3 used wet teabags to keep mealworms moist for her chooks and wild birds.
