Coffee, tea, red wine are all good, but sitting up the lottie drinking a nice freshly brewed cuppa and contemplating the view must be the best. Why does tea taste better when made outdoors?

Think I may have missed out in all my 75 years. Cup o tea is great first thing and round about eleven my idea of heaven is a strong cup o coffee. After that I can't wait till the sun is over the yard arm............

First thing in the morning, tea (strong, no sugar) and a fag! Thereafter coffee (again strong, little milk, no sugar) till the evening (providing I'm not working) then red wine

Went off tea years ago, so it's coffee for me - heaped spoon of good quality instant, level spoon sugar and loads of milk. I love it with all milk actually, and will sometimes mix coffee and cocoa in together.

Later on G&T/Pimms if the weather's warm.

After that Red Wine - and as Hayley said, loads!

I've never got into coffee. It's one of those flavours of which I just can't see the appeal, like beer. It's obviously just an opinion thing because I'm massively out-numbered by the people who do like it.
I do enjoy a nice cup of traditional english, every-day, tea. I don't have a prefered alternative that can really compete (expect a mojito, but I think I like that because I don't have them so often). Nothing could stand up to tea when drunk on such a regular basis.

Olli,I never liked tea or coffee.Got to the stage,in my late teens, that I felt awkward for not liking so decided to go for one or the other.Chose coffee...black & no sugar(if I was going to aquire a taste for it,might as well go for the lowest calorie option).Possibly took me a good few weeks of gagging but now am a total coffeeaholic. At least until early evening when it gets swapped for wine or beer.

You see I don't understand your mentality there, but if it worked for you, well done.
I'm not a fussy eater, but if I don't like/enjoy something, I'll just avoid it. I once considered making myself like beer (hard to feel like a real man when you have two older brothers who tease you about not liking it), but I just couldn't convince myself that it was nice.
Not sure why I'd want to start enjoying coffee, unless I was trapped in a life-or-death situation where the only way to survive was to drink coffee!

Couple of cups of Earl Grey, black, no sugar first thing.
Two litres sparkling water throughout the day, glass of white wine followed by glass of red sipped slowly through the evening, maybe a bit more with dinner. And loads more water (I drink tons of the stuff).

Prosecco or something else sparkly on Saturday early evening, followed by more wine...

Coffee preferably, but tea if no coffee is available - so long as it has milk and three sugars (in a mug), I'll drink it.
Except after working in the club and nights out - then it's spiced rum and coke all the way - preferably doubles.
Sweet tooth - what gave you that idea??

I've got funny habits (now that won't surprise you).

Morning: coffee, but only two or I go all stressy

At the lotty: grapefruit squash or Diet Coke

Afternoon: Earl Grey (can't do brown tea)

After school/after 4pm: squash, or in winter a herbal tea

Evening: red wine at the w/e, or OJ and tonic if I'm teetotalling

Milky 'red bush' tea for me, defo no coffee. Have given up diet (which I can have as much as I like of on my diet)cola (well I am trying reeeeally hard to anyway) as the dentist is telling me I have no enamel left on my teeth!

So I am switching to water. But I hate it, so am weaning myself onto normal water with those flavoured waters...but don't tell my dentist as the acid content with the fruit juice is still high

Oh and a highlights hot choc when I need something sweeeeeeet lol

Definitely don't brush your teeth within an hour of drinking fruit juice or cola. That's when the brushing just rips the enamel off your teeth, after the juice has softened it.

We did a school experiment with eggshells: leave one in cola, one in orange juice, one in vinegar etc.

                              Orange juice was the worst

Oh heck. All my faves are bad for me. I've fallen out with coffee (taste never matches up to smell) can't be bothered with tea. Now its Cava Rosado and fall asleep after the second glass!
