I've got carpal tunnel - came on when I was pregnant and never left! I can't lean on one side or hold a heavy pan, and rolling pasta with a wine bottle really annoys it. I never got to the drs but I'm edging closer to doing so with this...doesn't half thrum (I make up words all the time )
    I don't roll on Shabbos

      I like it!
Not a new word but usually used in a different context. Actually I think it describes the sensation rather well. Nice one Rhona.

Try whipping 6 egg whites at once, to make chocolate mousse. Nearly bl00dy killed me. Someone pointed out later I could have done 2 at a time, adding more egg shite as I went along. You wouldn't think I had two degrees!!!

Haha, I thought you were just so fed up with it you'd resorted to swearing about it!

I too would have left it in. Personally I think shite describes it more acurately.
Come to think of it it's not white till it's cooked which is not what nature intended anyway.

Only bringing this to the top cos the said Wedding Day has arrived. The cake offering is ready to go on stage. Sometimes when I look at it I think "what a bl**dy mess". Next time think "Ah well, I did me best" but, I'm not really sure if my best is good enough. Will report back later.
