Now that is a good idea!

I'm so sorry to hear about your granddad Louise. Hope they move this horrible family on soon. And I thought my neighbours were awful. (Well they are - but not quite this bad!)

Have only just seen this and I'm in tears for your Grandad. He shouldn't have to put up with this from those low life at his age. I pray that something is sorted out very soon and he can back to his peaceful life. Please give him a {{{hug}}} for me. I know how very special Grandparents are {{{hugs}}} to you as well Louise.

I've just read this post and my heart goes out to your Grandad - also to you and your hubby.

It's so sad that those we should respect and cherish, who've given the community a long life of hard work, are harrassed and bullied in this way. Those young perpetrators seem to have no thought for the suffering they are causing.

We can only hope and pray that things get sorted out for your Grandad and he gets back to the peaceful life he is entitled.

            Thinking of you all.
My hopes are not always realized but I always hope (Ovid)

              How horrible.

My parents have the same sort of thing, (although they are one of the last council tenants on teh estate now) It used to be very nice when we moved there in 1974. They are the last house in a row and teh kids climb over the wall and use their garden as a loo.

How does your grandad feel about moving? I know my parents stay because they like their neighbours who are really good to them and it has been their home for 35 years.

My Dad who is 88 opened the door to find a teenager flashing at him. His reply was "Blimey I wouldn't want to admnit to something that small"

Hope something gets sorted out soon. People have so little time for the elderly and they went through so much for us.

Ive drove down to see grandad this morning so OH could sort his security out, and i cant believe just how feisty my grandad is !!! i can only put it down to the life he has had, a lot lot tougher that someone my age has, But he shouldnt after to put up with that, i wont even call her, her, its that ! but we were very polite to that today, even when her kids kicked a big hole in my grandads new fence, when really i didnt want to be polite, when really i wanted to rip her head off shove it so far up her a**e it was back in place, but although i have these thoughts, they stay firmly in my mind !x

hope you get this sorted Louise , you certainly have my support.
Please write or email the local mp , as for the police and the council , i think the only time they react and do things is when there put under pressure.
I notice your in the same council as me , i know how incompetant they are , so does a few others on the vine.keep up the pressure and keep a log.
my thoughts are with you and your Grandad.

Quite disgusting. I hope he's feeling a little better. My mum still drives (she's 72) if anything happened to her car she'd be devastated, it's her lifeline

I have to update you all re my grandad, he has bought himself a lovely new ford fiesta, he is well chuffed with it, and the fact it has airbags ! but what makes me even more happy, is his neighbours ! she has had her kids taken in care, sad i know for the kids, but social services have moved her into a flat as a the house was to big, so my grandad as from last week has new neighbours, a really nice family.
