Although I come from Manchester, I've always preferred Robinsons to Boddingtons. But I think the best pint I've ever had was in the bar of the Bass Museum, Burton on Trent

I lived just outside Burton for 12 years,don't half pong some days,my kids used to hate it,funny I thought it really appealing.If you're there again,go down to the river and try "the Burton Bridge",the brewery is round the back of the pub,though they are owned independently.
