it does annoy me a bit, there are so many kitties needing homes yet they discriminate cos your OH is service personnel??? , that just seems so wrong, there are so many criteria they have it's a wonder they ever rehome any of them, there are many loving homes out there, but half of them 'aren't suitable' ..... well good luck, and fingers crossed .... xxxxx

Ok - check list

- stop all planes in and out of Benson for duration of visit
- ditto cars. In fact, all motorised vehicles
- check cupboards stocked with sheba etc
- check fridge stocked with a little white fish
- make real coffee, bake bread. Oh no, that's for it your selling your house
- look in mirror to ensure no spinach in teeth/mascara splodges/bed head/buttons on clothes done up in correct buttonholes/food dribbles down clothes etc etc
- try not to look overeager/mad as a box of frogs
-TURN OFF 'VINE

I am annoyed that I was 'put in a pile to be ignored' when I first asked about the two that I posted here. Why didn't they just say outright so we could challenge this stupid discrimination!

Now of course if they had told you they discriminate against you because of the colour of your skin, or religion for example that would clearly be wrong.
As a former Bill Oddie, it used to drive me mad when I was blatantly discriminated against simply because of the job I did.

Good luck I hope all goes well for you! cats are such good company! I know I would find it hard not to have at least one cat! I have 5 at the moment, all being well I should have the 4 girls around for another 10 years or so! My old boy not so sure; maybe 4-6 years left if he is lucky? He is getting on a bit now!

Just a question - how come prospective parents(of human babies!) don't get vigourously 'vetted'?
No wonder so many cats are in these homes.
