    How obscure is obscure?

I like crime fiction/whodunnit kind of stuff. Always better than a good film.

Adventure stuff....six men battle the Atlantic....Thor Heyedahl, Tim Severin etc....................man against adversity is what does it for me.
Read one recently where the guy was starving on a boat, and finished up eating his boots which were fried in Vaseline, washed down with the sump oil out of his defunct petrol engine.....stirring stuff, but I love it!

Sounds like a disgusting diet I'll stick with the left-over Tiramisu!

Mr Sheds has just brought down a binliner full of shirts for me to eBay. I quite enjoy it, but it takes hours of work listing, photographing, packing and posting them.
Now I'd just chop 'em up and make a quilt!

I once bought several shirts from a charity shop. Made them into a quilt and gave it to another charity for a raffe. Double result - AND I had the fun of making the quilt.

Ah, that's the trick - LIKING to make quilts!

Surely the quilt wouldn't be very warm if it was made of cotton shirts Flum?
No doubt you must add something else do you?

              Books

My collection of Terry Pratchett books are worth more than my car.

              Car is a Fiesta.

              I like my books.

Any one of my Terry Pratchett books is worth more than my car, and they're not all First Editions.

I've got a car like that!

Mines probably worth less than a copy of this weeks Beano!

In fact the old Christmas Radio Times that I've just binned is probably worth more than my car.

Before I went self-employed (2000) I made a part-time income out of selling on eBay - not to be overlooked for sure ...well done Snadger
