Maybe your neighbour is really clumsy, can't make a cake without getting flour everywhere. Or maybe her partner is !
I know what your saying tho, it does seem a bit obsessional doesn't it.
We once lived on the bottom floor in a house turned into flats and the lads upstairs had 2 dogs which they left in ( after a walk of course ) while they went out for the night. It used to sound like the dogs were using a rowing machine across the floor until the boys came home and then there would be a lot of hammering and banging.
Drove us crazy.
Turned out the dogs were ripping up the skirting boards cos they were bored at being left and the hammering was them being nailed back down again. ( the boards not the dogs )
Izi.

Our MQ's are in semis and I am her only direct neighbour, I am (honestly) a quiet considerate neighbour. I do not turn my office radio on in the mornings until I know she has left with the kids, I don't get on my cross-trainer at unsocial hours - I don't let Snowdrop have his films blaring out - nope, no excuse, she is just barkingaka

Have you asked if you can borrow it? Tell them that yours has brokened and you aren't able to get to the local store. Then, make sure they're in, and use it close to the adjoining wall, and keep going for half an hour or 45 minutes. That, or borrow it and just vacuum the wall itself, they must be able to hear it.
Or you could do what most neighbours do when borrowing things - just don't give it back.A simple dude trying to grow veg. http://haywayne.blogspot.com/
