con wants to get me one on those nicorette inhilators to try, but i bet they aren't cheap.

can't use the patches cos they bring me up in a rash, and the constant itching just makes me want a ciggie

no, i hate going to the flamin clinic, for a start you have to wait for a place, by which time you are not in the mood to give up anymore ( you have to do it when you get the urge to) and i am NOT very good at being lectured.plus last time they were really stingy about dishing out patches, you have to PROVE you are sincere ????( still haven't figured out how, and i don't do begging!!)
i am quite capable of doing it, i know i can, just need to do it my own way! without condescension

going to make a 'stinky jar' from old ashtrays later, that helped last time.

treid that too, thing is its just not the same, you don't get the 'effort'

i have found half a tube of filters that is working ok though, might buy a pack of menthol filters see it that works better

If youwant to try the inhalator jobby, I can send you one of ours? It's just sat in the cupboard doin nowt, and I've got a box of refill thingies? I didn't get on with it very well coz it gave me a worse sore throat than smoking did Might be enough to wean you off the nicotine though.

My friend wouldn't do the whole clinic thing, and paid for her patches last year, despite being eligible for free scripts! She found this site towards the end, would have saved her a bit compared to our rural chemist prices

Bride XIII you are not the only one i had a blazing row with hubby this morning and went outside the back door whilst he was in the shower and lit one, i smoked about half though, then thought not going to be beaten by the dreaded weed. Funny though if i hadn't gone out back door i wouldn't have noticed one of my chooks had jumped over fence and was bok boking outside a neighbours door, had to do a quick rescue. It wasn't till after rescue i realised i wasn't wearing my patch.
