    Oh, I can't stand Bonjella
It's all that fake flirting, talking sideways to the camera from under her fringe, and that noddy-dog head thing she does ~ I end up shouting at the TV

And she always wears a denim jacket to cook in, and she never makes a mess!

btw, it's not female jealousy ... I think that Ellie off Wild About Your Garden is a cracking bird

I watched Jamie last night (porn free), his Xmas recipes were honestly to die for and Gennaro was lovely as usual. The ideas with the turkey leftovers seriously did it for me - yummy.
Madmax scores 10/10 for embarassing me again!

I am not that good in the kitchen though I do hold my hand up to being able to make a really delicious beef in beer. I just like plain old fashioned home cooking but without salt (why do TV cooks all use tons of salted water to boil their veggies?) and most veggies are steamed as lightly as possible.

Just as well Madmax didn't give away my roast spud secret.

We watched Nigella (too many crimbo lights for my liking) then turned over to see Jamie - we never normally watch these types of programme and only watched due to this thread. Not sure I liked the effect when Jamie poured the jerk sauce over that ham - it reminded me of something nasty - but I am sure it would be an interesting combination of flavours with the ham. Mind you, I am sticking to cider, mustard and honey for ours.

Wondering if I am the only person who has to make hundreds of pigs in blankets for Christmas dinner?

Have to say, that Nigella is just novelty cooking for me. I actually felt hungry after watching Jamie, even though I had a belly full of home made soup and bread - not something I feel when watching Nigella. That's a different feeling altogether.

Loved the bit with Jamie/Genarro and the spiced popcorn. Even if it was slightly staged, still seeing them laugh like that had us both chuckling.

I also always feel hungry when watching Jamie. I try to time it so that I'm eating when I watch - otherwise a humungous shopping list would result!!

The turkey in pancakes are definitely on my list and I am a convert to leek and turkey pie now. Gennaro making the porcetta - I really had to concentrate on what he was saying he talks so fast, Jamie interpreting made me smile and those truffles...........

'Nother good one from Jamie tonight, that bit at the end when Jamie was making his "alternative" mince pies and him and Genaro were obviously half cut, priceless.
