Am I too late for a bacon and egg bap?…I’ve plenty of spare eggs if they are in demand!
Tis a funny thing , but , although I absolutely love the scent of fresh coffee, I just can’t enjoy the flavour! So …my kettle is on if anyone fancies a brew instead.
Another quiet day ahead for me…resting up. This is getting rather frustrating!..at least I’m managing to get on top of boring paperwork
Look after those shoulders Snoop…they can take weeks to settle down!

OH put up the first of our blowaways yesterday and instantly crammed it full of seedtrays of veggies and flowers. Not sure what some of them are as they were what he found at the bottom of a well chewed box of seeds in the barn.
Guess the seed has been fun though

Still and dry here but no sun…I’ll send a bit ooop norf is you like?

I’ll pop a fresh pot on CG. I had fruit and yog for breakfast…but I’m now fancying some toast and marmalade.
I bought some Sicilian ‘marmalade’ from Lidl a few weeks back when they had an Italian week, and have to say that it’s rather nice!…not too zesty but a lovely mix of citrus fruits. I’ll certainly buy it again. Not like the bitter traditional Oxford marmalade…but very much worth trying. Just thought I’d share that with you incase you ever spotted it and wondered.

Another quiet day for me resting up. Very frustrating, but slowly improving
We have a friend coming to stay/help OH on Wednesday for a few days, so I don’t want to stuck on bedrest when he’s here!
Looks like he’s in for a few days of warm sunny weather too…Lovely jubbly

Apologies. I'm hogging the glorious start to the day here. Drizzle forecast for later, honest! Last of the chilly nights tonight as well.

Loads of work on the cards for today, but it's the last on the current project. I'll be glad to get it finished.

Gardening leave tomorrow, at long last...

Hope your recovery speeds up, Nicos. Very frustrating, but back problems seem to take ages.

Intermittent rain forecast for the rest of today and tomorrow.
The weekend, however looks as if it might be warm and partly sunny, reaching a scorching 26°C on Sunday. I really ought to tackle the undergrowth on my legs in case I decide that it is shorts weather. I know that all my short skirts/dresses eventually went to the charity shop but the shorts, cargo shorts of course, as the pockets are so useful, are ready to celebrate 'Spring".

Nicos, look after your back and don't rush into things.

I think that I might take a trip to the garden centre on the edge of the moor this week. I think one of the neighbours, who doesn't drive, might like to go too.

I also ought to try and get some ideas for presents for a couple of birthdays next month. A five year old boy and a 63 year old woman.

I'm not a fan of tart marmalade either and make three fruit marmalade every so often, sometimes adding limes to make it four fruit. I like it because it uses the whole of the fruit. I usually give it a zap with the stick blender before putting the chopped up peel back in.
