It's warmer this morning at 8 degrees, forecast rain later

I've had my tea but the water is hot if anyone needs a cuppa.

Ta for the cuppa, CG. I agree, these lighter mornings are very welcome, especially when like today, there are no clouds to cast a gloom on the day. I shall be off out for a walk soon too.

Morning, rain, rain and more rain!! Car into garage today, brakes feel funny. Visit from brother in law this afternoon, other than that nothing on the cards.

Afternoon n’alln’all
Another warmish day - well, when gardening in the sunshine it is.
I managed 3 hrs of weeding from the gravel at the back of the house. 5 orange buckets full so I’m chuffed with that.
We got notice that the new fridge/freezer is arriving in the morning… between 7am and 9 am….gosh, so everything had to be ready to make it easier to get in situ. ( door off hinges and utility room clearing easy access)

All ready now, so we can just look forward to it.

Good evening all.
CG, yes, the sun shone today and the temp got up to 18 degrees but extremely breezy.
We had a long walk today and then a bit of shopping this evening. Picked up a few bargins as the winter clothes are being sold off, so I bought two fleeces for €8 each...OH got a sweater for €9...all good and it's nice to have the time to browse.
My daughter trlls me its snowing at home so I think we had a lucky escspe.

I am aware that you aren’t/ weren’t supposed to transport them flat due to the gas getting an airlock or something…but no idea if that’s still a thing either!

Makes sense though to turn it on and leave it for a while though….even if it’s to get the interior down to working temperature.

Nicos from what I remember we left ours switched on for 4 hours before filling.

Bit cooler this morning at 2 degrees and a bit rainy . Not even sure we have any sun forecast
Think I shall grory hop first thing then play in the gh which is a mess, will tidy up and sow some seeds.

Morning all.

Absolutely poured in the night, but there's a bit of a lull at the moment. Raining, not pouring. So Ikea it is. Mr Snoop has drawn a plan and cut out little bits of card for all the known appliances. We had a look at their website too. But I find these things quite hard to grasp in the abstract. The only thing that definitely struck me was that everything I like the look of is very expensive. Shame Mr Snoop isn't fitter, otherwise I could spent the money on wood and have him make the kitchen of my dreams and still be quids in.
