  • I have to go near IKEA tomorrow …darn…double darn….apparently their Xmas decorations should be out …
I looked on line but nothing really appealed…although it does look like red candles might be available which I’ve not seen here before so I’ll probably grab some of those.

      • Nicos, our fast fibre internet came with two extra extenders. One is plugged in in the kitchen and the other in our bedroom. We have no problems🤞with it, but the mobile signal ..... a different story. It's not just me. I see neighbours standing outside with their phones, and it seems to apply to all networks.

I didn't want to mention Saturnalia Snoop! We didn't go for the compost and grit. My son has got a problem with his back, so I didn't want to strain it further. He just chauffeured me to the hairdresser. The heavy lifting can wait, as can the tree

Two minds with but a single thought....I went to the GC after a nice sunny walk in the forest park, to look at trees, as I want something a bit smaller and hopefully not as wide, and easy to pack away. A very helpful assistant saw me searching the labels to find the diameters and read them out to me. I mentioned that he'd got glitter on his face and he said by the end of the day he was always covered in it, so much so that his children call him Sparkle

When I got home and measured, I found that the tree I liked, that looked slim and elegant in the store, is actually the same width as the one I have already.

Edit: I mean to the GC to look at trees, though I did see a lot of (real) trees on my walk!

Please picture that face without a smile as I'm away in the huff

Thanks MH - I've had short hair for half a century but started growing it for the wedding and have carried on!
I've just collected a compost bag full of leaves. The wind had blown them into convenient piles that were easy to scoop up. I'll put some more in the dalek tomorrow.

                    • Evening

I can say evening seeing as it’s dark and the curtains are all closed.

Your hair looks nice Flo I keep my hair short otherwise it goes wavy, rather bushy and annoying.

MF years ago I used to work with a lady who wrote her cards really early we’d always know seeing as she was covered in glitter.

                        Quite correct Flo!

We can ask to see if it can be added again if that’s what people would like?

                        • Good evening, it has been a cold wet and windy day here today, OH managed to get out today, so took her to our friend and she went in and no doubt had a right good blether I went for some messages, once we got back home OH had a look to see what I had bought, I some how I don't think she was too happy with some of the things I bought, however at least one of us is,
Yes Snoop the chitchat is good to have, and its nice to see how some members are now entering the 21st. century, and finding out about wifi, its also nice to see some of the older folk still get exited at the thought of buying decorations and the likes for Christmas, though at their age they should be very careful of candles, now going to prepare the tea so I wish you all a pleasant evening and lots if smiles
