Hope all is well GF. Himself thinks he has concussion Snoop Puss but he wouldn't get it checked. I think he's just had his confidence knocked!

It can take a few weeks to resolve Flo. My son fell backwards off a chair at school and banged his head. He was off school and food for over a week.
Always good to get these things checked out, even after a week.

I had just tracked down my brother in law to a ward in the hospital when he managed to give me a quick ring on his mobile, which is, of course, just about out of charge. They say they are running tests to try and find out why he is falling so often.

I, unfortunately, have an exceedingly low opinion of elderly care in our local hospitals. I will visit him tomorrow if they still intend keeping him in, and why, and try and help him and see what he needs/wants.

Afternoon all,gosh GF,hope they get him sorted out,also hope MR Himself gets sorted FF,we start choir again tomorrow,still cannot sing without some croaks,had to give up in church earlier on,i will doubt i will be joining in the concert next month,but i enjoy listening to the others and learning just in case,it also makes me part of it all,have a good evening

Do you think someone is trying to tell me something? I put on the tumble dryer today. Luckily OH went into the garage, where it’s situated, to be confronted with a wall of smoke!!!! First time that’s happened to us. So now on the lookout for a new dryer. So buy a new whirlie and it rains constantly and now the dryer has gone. 🤷🏻♀️

How scary, Jay. The things that I never leave turned on if I'm not around are chargers. I just don't trust them. You're obviously just not meant to do laundry.

morning all,looks nice outside again,Jay that was more than lucky to find it when he did,after seeing so many fires started from things you not expect i also never leave a drier on if am not there,or when i go to bed at night,just not worth it,
Trying to cook dinner last night,my oven is playing up,it is only around 3.5 years old and not used a lot,the heating element seems to be having a hissy fit,will i will i not work,so i think am going for a new one,i have never liked this one,it came in the package with the kitchen when it was first set up,will have to measure the hole and go looking in Cu for one,have a good day all and stay safe

Hope today brings better news for your brother-in-law, GF. Even just spending time lying down in a hospital bed does nobody any favours, especially elderly folk.

Good luck cooker hunting, LD. Cookers have got so high-tech I don't know that I would know where to start these days.

As for here, it's cloudy and there are occasional spots of rain. Temperatures have dropped back to the top twenties. What a relief!

A dry day here so I'm hoping to spend most of it in the garden.
Scary about your dryer Jay a good thing it was noticed in time, it might be an idea to have a smoke alarm in there. Looks like both you and LD will be shopping for new appliances soon.

Best get the kettle on.
