Morning all.

Still in the Early Risers Club. I was watching a hedgehog snuffling about on the front lawn at 4am. He seems to come quite regularly, though he must walk a fair way as the next front garden that isn't just parking space of bricks or tarmac is 4 doors down, then beyond that are the playing fields. I guess he must inhabit the scrub around there where there must be lots to eat so why he walks up to my house I have no idea. Half the playing fields are still fenced off from when methane gas was discovered, so it's nice and wild for him.

Kettle's on if anyone is in need of an early cuppa.

Good morning mothhawk, and any other early risers or fellow insomniacs.

I've been awake for a good couple of hours. Just had an email regarding my online grory hop that's arriving today. Only one substitution, and it's a "sensible" one, just a different size pack of something. Hopefully my brother in law should get his TV today too.

I think I'll go grab a shower now.

Tis a brrr and damp start to the day but 25C promised for later. Pity we have an appointment at the tax office or I’d spend the day getting very grubby in the garden.
Apart from the appointment though it’s going to be a gardening day again, wiypth a bit of domestics thrown in

Congrats to your grandson, Flo. That's a great achievement.

Just come into the village to check the freezers are OK after the big blackout in Spain. All good. No idea what we'd have done with two freezers' worth of food if it had thawed. So phew!

Back home now to do a bit of gardening. Am making very slow progress. But any progress is better than none, I guess.

Good day all,many congratulations to your grandson FF,what an acheivement,this sunny weather is nice,we got a bit further on in the green house,slow but sure,the strawbwerry plants in pots are going for it,seedlings pricked out,now to sort out the next lot off seeds to sow,beans,squash,sweetcorn,and what ever else i clap eyes on,have not yet got the snips,carrots and swede inmight i be to late now,the time is in warp speed these days,the cough is so much better am starting to have the odd better nights sleep,still have the voice throuble,and waiting for that appointment,evey day day i give thanks for having someone special in in my life once more,as does he,have a good day everyone and stay safe in the sun
