Well I nearly fell off my chair today as when I gave the skirt to my aunt (to wrap and me to forget about obviously lol) she said, ' I thought you said it was a 12'.

        IT WAS ACTUALLY A 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Must be cut on the bias as there is no way I can get my ass in a 10!

Of couse then the 'don't go losing too much weight now will you' comments started - Grrrrr I can't win!

The hard thing is to keep the weight off. You really have to change your habits (I speak from experience, having lost 2 dress sizes myself):
                * don't keep snacky junk food in the house
                * keep healthy food in the fridge to snack on
                * use your legs or a bike wherever possible instead of the car
                * ditch remote controls ... get up off your butt
                * if you have to go upstairs - do it twice, just for the exercise. Little and often is better than none at all
                * if you eat when you're bored ... find something interesting to do. Or just the ironing.

Small changes = big difference. Just one choccy HobNob every day (on top of your requirements) will put about 10lbs on you in a year, if you don't burn it off with exercise.

                1lb fat = 3500 cals
                1 HobNob = 95 cals

Wow, well done. I am a yo-yo dieter, not very good I know, but get fed up of dieting, have been on and off since 15 years, now 48 years and could do with losing at least one stone.
How did you keep your motivation going?
Anyway, very best wishes, enjoy the new you.
