Like Hayley says... if literally 'caught' no option! If you mean 'spotted' though...? Was he def digging up bulbs? My dad and I saw one doing that, or so we thought. On closer inspection though he was actually burying gravel (mistaken for nuts
).

They do dig up the bulbs Geo and can be a bit pesky around bird feeders and at birds nests in the breeding season but as long as they're not infiltrating the house I don't see any reason to dipatch them.
I had them in my last garden and we always managed to rub along with them. And we did have many happy times watching their antics - especially the babies.
Live and let live in this case.

Interesting link Terrier, but I didn't see much in favour of the grey squirrel. But as I said earlier, there isn't too much against them either.

is now happy ........ i reckon if they decided to do a countrywide cull of grey squirrels, to replace them with reds, i'd comply with it, cos i'd rather see reds ..... but until that happens, i'd rather have greys than no squirrels at all ...... and yup they are very cute ...... even if some people don't like them.
