no its this site, something to do with flash, doesn't usually cause a problem with AVG which is how i know there is not a real problem, unless they have a new ad i haven't noticed, but every time i move pages AVG is flagging me with a warning. i'll try an update see if that fixes it.

mine either, i ran un update that failed, oh well switch it off for now, it will catch up i guess, and i trust this site.

back to the subject in question:

english....which is spoken as a first language by many countries that were not 'british' originally...... hence their construction is not the same as ours.
advisor/adviser is not the issue really, its internationally accepted as correct.
              sentence construction however..is different.

english speaking.....is correct construction wise, it is grammatically correct ( grammar is the construction of a sentence, not to do with spelling ) and unless you want to use a whole sentence to explain your adviser is an english national ( who on reflection may have a passport but can't 'speak' english for toffee) , the term will do

The person speaks English. The English would be spoken.

Thus: English speaking advisor; or English spoken by advisor

Nooooo...a French person could be fluent in English but not be aware of the subtle demands /expectations an English person would consider 'normal'

The French would be horrified at a loo in the bathroon...if you ask for milk with your tea - it may well come as warmed...'the customer is always right' is a definite NO NO in France..guilty until defended is the rule here(!)

Come on peeps...help us out!!!! we need to make a clear statement ..and it needs to be inviting...that there is someone here who understand what we English need- NOT what the French think we might want!!!

Again Nicos, what are they giving advice on?

'Advice provided, from an English viewpoint'?

OK fine! please re-iterate what it is you want to present to the french speaking person, cos their grammar is sooooo much better than ours (rules wise)

what is it you want to express exactly?

a business adviser that speaks english?

who are you addressing, english people, or french people?
