What shall I call it?

Ideas are;

Reinstate Trickys Scunthorpe allotment - having scunthorpe in the title will get locals more involved as in will come up in a search of "scunthorpe"
Reinstate Richard Baxters Allotment - perhaps we should use his real name
North Lincs Council took my allotment


Any other ideas? - school run now so will create when I get back

not sure how much help i can be on the JO front now...i made the call and it seems unlikely i'll get much further, but then i only talked to my contacts wife, not him directly.....which i should be able to do next week when i'm back at work.

well thats further than we got with HFW so thanx for the effort, and you never know, something might come of it.

To whom it may concern

knowing how well you expose the ineptitude of various councils, I hope this local story from The Scunthorpe Telegraph may be of some interest.
allotment, Wheatfields, North Lincolnshire Council, Bottesford Lane, Scunthorpe,

despite admitting that 'an administrative error' occured, they ploughed up this gentlemans plot destroying all his produce, re-allocated said plot to a council worker, and have since said Mr Baxter will have to go to the back of a 90 strong queue!

I am sure the council hoped that the problem would quietly go away, however they are in for a shock as this incident has come to the notice of a national online community, who are actively agitating to have Mr Baxters plot returned to him, plus interest has been shown today from the local news, on following the story.

thankyou , i did indeed, but there it is for everyone else who wants to knock off an email.
any other suggestions welcome, i was impressed with THRIVE phoning me first thing this morning, but........ as charities they cant get directly involved, only offer advice, so it seems at the moment, the best way to go is to get as many 'news' outlets informed as possible, i am still intrigued as to where the TV station got the nod from, perhaps Tricky can enlighten us at some point..as it stands someone out there has picked this up, and the wider we cast the net, the more chance we have of a resolution that suits us, so.........
I would like to take the opportunity here , to thank each and every one of you , that has commented, posted emailed and suggested anything, i know it can look like a few are doing loads, but that is NOT the case, you all are! and it is much appreciated, some are just more .........quiet than others this is an equal opportunities campaign

yeah bride you're just sooooooooo noisy lol ...... may i aslo add my thanks for absolutely everything everyones done so far ....... you are all absolutely wonderful ..... i love this site ...... we do need to keep it up though ..... we don't want it to die down even slightly .... so anyone else anyone can think of????

got a couple of auto emails from gardeners world today, not much use really basically saying buy the magazine to see if we wrote about what you sent, cos we don't read all the emails.

well i did wonder, whichis why i am intrigued to know, if they did thats good for us, because it shows the effort you are all putting in is making the story big enough to pass on to other media.
if it was something else, to know would give us a direction to concentrate on. either way i am dead chuffed they have contacted Tricky.

i think theres usually someone at news channels scouring local papers for big news stories or even small stories that are news worthy ..... and lets face it growing your own is news worthy right now....... and so are councils who break the law. ...... a contract is a legal document .... they broke it.

hmmm not that i didn't expect that, but let me think on something, cos GW and other progs have their own forums like we do, Digital spy especially has forums for all sort of progs, maybe, just maybe............
