Elephants rock!!

Just watching Big Cat Diaries and I'm amazed at how Elephants have arrived from miles around because they heard some other elephants were getting a spot of bother from some lions.

Outstanding!

They're LadyWaynes favourite animals too - especially since we rode one in Sri Lanka and visited the elephant orphanage in Pinnawala.

i missed it darling son came for a visit and didn't even hand me a bag of washing ..... though i had bought him food ........

You can do that at Colchester zoo!!!May be worth bearing in mind now the credit crunch seems to be crunchin'!!!

my next wish is to feed a fish to a penguin ..... definitely not going to the south pole for that one

Shame about the other baby elephant though, I love cheetahs and DD and I are consantly worrying about Shakira. Those lions are amazing though especially Red, that's one lady I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of

If you book your birthday party there then I think they'll let you throw some fish to the seals!!
Pretty sure I've seen elephant poo pads there too!!
