One of our cats decided to roll in the chalk picture that a little girl up the road had drawn good job it was a girl cat cos it was pink chalk on a big white patch of fur. Stayed on her for days.

My little tiny kitty shot up a pine tree, I had to go up to get him, both got absolutely covered in pine sap! vet said to try swafega (no idea how to spell- sorry)
I then had to work out how to un- green the kitten! stressful or what!
and, I am not good with heights to boot.

Lynda66 it was a night mare.... tree was an old Chirstmas tree and really tall but oh so spindly, village kids kept saying, yer cats stuck up the tree! The tree is over a drop making even more scary...ooooh bad memories kiddies gathered saying its very high up...thanks for that, I know that and I am not good with heights....trying not to say anything that might upset their delicate ears - I really wanted to cry. Still 13 years and many scrapes later Monty cat is still here and I still have to pluck him out of trees....what is it with that cat!
love him to bits though, even when he brings live mice into bedroom at 3am and crunches on them, least he eats it all, nothing nasty for me to walk on at 6am!

awwwww bless, i'd have stuck a ladder up and let him come down himself, in the mean time working out some lifting device, to raise some food up, just in case he starved whilst trying to work it out

when you are using gloss paint in the garden, and you haven't locked the cat inside, and she comes up silently behind you, and sits on the lid of the paint pot, and you neglected to buy any turps,

neat cillit bang makes a good paint remover, cat won't be impressed at going in the bath, and there will still be a bit of staining on the fur, but it gets out all the stickiness ....... oh and appears to kill fleas too

but thank goodness it was the kitten and not asbo ........ he tries to eat me when i bath him, she just looks all pathetic, but now smells of strawberry shampoo

I really must increase the size of font on my pc or wear my specs.

yeah, but they don't actually touch it,they use a clean sponge, and they wipe it immediately ..... it's good but not that good.

it's normally Asbo trying to 'help' but no sign of him today thankfully lol ...... she didn't make a great paintbrush, but theres cute little black paw prints across the patio

It does! You only have to include it for commercial premises, but it has to be available for all the public, so if you ask for it, the company will send it to you.

Should you REALLY want it...

Tip for bathing tricky kitties, Lynda, is to fill the bath as you would for a hooman, but with cooler water. Hold kitty by scruff of neck (water supports the body weight) and kitty will go limp in the water. You still risk life and limb (and face) before and after, though.

tip for bathing Asbo(he didn't get his name for nothing you know) fill up bath, wear those gloves they use for hawks (3 pairs) wear 8 layers of waterproof clothing and a fencing mask, and cover all the floor in towels ........ then chuck him in the bath and run ...... then when he's stopped snarling growling and spitting cover with shampoo, whilst avoiding claws and teeth (his teeth went through my thumb joint last time whilst i had him scruffed) holding up by scruff, pick up said cat and chuck back in the bath ..... whilst running back out of the bathroom, leave for 10 mins till bathroom is flooded, then open front door, open bathroom door, and step back out of the way while he runs past snarling and spitting and escapes ....... hence i don't bath him very often .......... he's the only cat i know that can twist his head 360 degrees and rip your hand off whilst being held by his scruff

funny thing is, the rest of the time he's sooooo sweet and gentle and well behaved.
